Born in 1587 in Halle
Organist at the court in 1609, he worked with Praetorius, and William Brade
KapellMeister in 1619, he being to develop court orchestra and to publish music boks.
In 1625 the court left Halle and he loosed his job.
He conintued to compose and to publish music unti 1650
He died in 1654
